ABOUT THE PLAYWRIGHT
Playwright, producer, and educator Latisha Jones creates compelling works that bring overlooked stories from history to the stage. Jones studied at Hampton University, earned a degree in Playwriting and Screenwriting from Drexel University, and a Master’s in Educational Theatre from New York University.
Her plays and short films, including The Rescue Trial and After Charlottesville, explore history, justice, and the power of community.
