For over 50 years, Silver Spring Stage has been a cornerstone of the local arts scene, bringing big ideas to our little stage. As the only non-professional theater left in eastern Montgomery County, we need your help to keep bringing the powerful experience of live drama and comedy right to you.

Last year, more than two-thirds of our actors were brand new to the stage. We present contemporary, edgy, often challenging stories you’d expect to see at larger theaters downtown — for a whole lot more money. And we do it with you: actors, directors, and crew from our local community, bringing in new, diverse voices every year.
