About the Play

Roman general Coriolanus’ military success leads others to encourage her political ambitions, but her arrogance toward common citizens results in her banishment from Rome. In exile, she joins Rome’s enemies and leads them in an attack against her former home.

MEET THE DIRECTOR

Jae is thrilled to be making her Silver Spring Stage directing debut. Previous directing credits include: Antigone (AU’s Rude Mechanicals) and Political Science (American University). Education: Theatre Arts and Political Science at American University, Actor Combatant status (SAFD as of 2026). Apprentice Company Member with The Noble Blades Stage Combat Troupe. Brianna Goode is excited to be back at Silver Spring Stage where she was last seen in All in the Timing (Betty, Mrs Trotsky). Favorite credits include Countess Andrenyi in Murder on the Orient Express (LTA), Peto and Montjoy in Henry V (BST) and Li’l Bit in How I Learned to Drive (DS). Brianna is an Advanced Actor Combatant with the Society of American Fight Directors and won a WATCH Award for her fight choreography in LTA’s Jekyll & Hyde. She would like to thank her friends/family for their support!

Alan Gonzalez Bisnes

Alan Gonzalez Bisnes has appeared at Silver Spring Stage in: A Christmas Carol, Company, Junk, and A Midsummer Night’s Dream. He also starred in One Man, Two Guvnors with The British Players. Alan is a co-host of the fanfiction “book club” podcast The Fic List. He thanks his chosen family for their unending support.

Tara Scully

Tara Scully returns to Silver Spring Stage after performing in A Christmas Carol in 2025. She once performed a monologue from The Woolgatherer at High Point Community Theater (NC) and has danced in productions such as The Nutcracker with Vostrikov’s Academy of Ballet (VA). She thanks her loved ones for their support.

Kenneth A. Edwards is thrilled to return to Silver Spring Stage following his appearance as Mr. Currier in A Christmas Carol. A student at Studio Acting Conservatory and Theatre Lab, Ken discovered his passion for theater two years ago and hasn’t looked back since.

Margaret Condon is elated to debut at Silver Spring Stage. She previously appeared at Spotlighters as Soccer Mom in Wolves, Tracey in Sweat, Goody Haskins in Vinegar Tom, Edna in A Delicate Balance, and Annette Raleigh in God of Carnage. She had roles in several other area productions, including Trudy Tromaine in The Glitter Girls, La Poncia in The House of Bernarda Alba, and Sonia in Vanya, Sonia, Masha, and Spike.

Erin Nealer

Erin Nealer recently performed with the Rude Mechanicals as Benedick (Much Ado About Nothing), Juliet (Romeo and Juliet), Yelena (Uncle Vanya), and Kent (King Lear) and with Vagabond Players as Callie and Sara (u/s) (Stop Kiss). In 2020, she wrote and directed HAMLESS, a digital adaptation of Shakespeare’s Hamlet.

Bryan McNamara

SSS Debut. Bryan McNamara returns to the stage after seven years away! Previous theater credits: Mamma Mia, Hamlet, Footloose, and Guys and Dolls (Brandeis University); Glass Menagerie (University of Edinburgh); and a few dozen more. TV: I Know this Much is True (HBO). Special thanks to his family and friends for embracing his theatrics.

She recently understudied for Close Ties at Rockville Little Theater, and previously wrote and directed A Day in the Life at the Colony Theater in Burbank, California. Elijah Rakha-Sheketoff

Elijah Rakha-Sheketoff, is excited to be returning to Silver Spring Stage, after having played Phill Knorr in Dark and Stormy in 2024. Elijah produces theater, comedy, and podcasts locally under the label Ugly Rhinoceros, and can be seen regularly performing at the DCAC and Washington Improv Theater in sketch and improv groups.
